- If you have any disease or history of taking special medicines, please inform Dr. Yahyavi or one of the assistants.
- The night before coming to operation room, please take a bath.
- Taking relaxing pills, such as Diazepam or Oxazepam 5mg or Alprazolam (1 pill the night before surgery) can reduce your stress significantly.
- Taking Vitamin E pills or Aspirin can increase the bleeding during the surgery, so stop taking them. Taking Acetaminophen (Paracetamol) is possible.
- You can take Vitamin C 1000mg daily (5 to 10 days before the surgery), to have a better healing process after the surgery.
- If you want to change your surgery date, please kindly keep us posted 2 weeks before your booked date.
- Stop eating and stop drinking 6 to 8 hours before surgery. Neglecting this point may cause your surgery to be cancelled.
- Having your passport copy for the hospital admission is required.
- Patients over 45 years old are needed to be checked by a cardiologist (heart doctor) and we need the written permit to general anesthesia from the cardiologist for these patients.
- Female patients, please don't wear make-up for the surgery day.
- Male patients, please shave your beard and mustache the day before the surgery day.
- Index finger of the left hand, shouldn't have any nail polish or gelish on it.
- Please remove all your jewelries and piercing before entering the operating room.
- Please try to cooperate with the nurses, until your surgery-turn.
Determining the time of surgery in the operating room is based on priorities such as the patient's age and condition. Therefore, please refrain from asking for surgery at the first appointments and allow the surgery to take place in peace.
