Special Revision Rhinoplasty By Dr. Yahyavi (Removing Prosthesis)

This video is about a patient who was suffering from her deformed nasal structure due to the primary Rhinoplasty (nose surgery). The ex-surgeon had mistakenly placed a very large size nasal Medpor prosthesis inside the patient's nose which had caused a very big hump on the nose and had made the nose abnormally big.

The patient requested Dr. Shahriyar Yahyavi to accept her surgery for the second time. After doing the online consultation, Dr. Shahriyar Yahyavi accepted to perform the patient's Revision Rhinoplasty.

During the surgery, Dr. Yahyavi takes out the Medpor prosthesis very carefully which is a complicated task as well. Then Dr. Yahyavi prepares a special shaped autologous cartilage (from patient's nasal cartilage) and replace it with the previous prosthesis.

The result of the surgery is significantly successful only 5 days after the surgery.
